Monical Declouet
Monica Declouet is a native of Opelousas, Louisiana, but has called Scott, Louisiana, her home for the past 21 years. She has been happily married to Dell Declouet for 21 years and is the proud mother of three wonderful children - Halli, Haili, and Delvin. In 1996, Monica graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (then known as the University of Southwestern Louisiana) with a bachelor’s degree in general business and a minor in accounting.
For the past 27 years, Monica has been employed at the University of Louisiana Federal Credit Union. Her career journey began as a receptionist in 1996, and through hard work and dedication, she advanced through the ranks to become the Chief Executive Officer. Since May 2019, Monica has held this prestigious position.
Furthermore, Monica is a founding board member of the Lafayette Community Development Fund, currently known as upLFT Capital Access. Her experience with Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) has proven invaluable in her role on this board. Undoubtedly, one of the highlights of her career in finance has been her involvement in assisting low-income individuals in obtaining financial aid.
